Elite Ambulance provides scheduled, emergency, and 911 calls, compassionately delivered with reliability and efficiency. Elite Ambulance has been providing expert medical care in Northwest Indiana since June of 2016. The organization is led by a management team with over 130 years of ambulance and healthcare industry experience, including prior ownership of the largest private ambulance service in Illinois. The Indiana Division of Elite Ambulance currently has stations conveniently located in Hammond and Portage.

Requirements:

EMT/Paramedic

  • Valid Indiana Drivers License
  • Valid EMT/Paramedic License
  • Valid CPR/AED Certification Card
  • Clean Driving Record (MVR)
  • Highschool Diploma or GED
  • Pass EMS Region Entry
  • Consent to a Criminal Background Check
  • Voided Check (Have on day of orientation)
  • Social Security Card (Have on day of orientation)
  • Ability to lift 100-150 LBS.

Medicar Operator

  • 21-years-old or Older
  • Valid Indiana Drivers License
  • Clean Driving Record (MVR)
  • Consent to a Criminal Background Check
  • Voided Check (Have on day of orientation)
  • Social Security Card (Have on day of orientation)
  • Ability to lift 100-150 LBS.

Porter

  • Valid Indiana Drivers License
  • Clean Driving Record (MVR)
  • Consent to a Criminal Background Check
  • Voided Check (Have on day of orientation)
  • Social Security Card (Have on day of orientation)
  • Ability to lift 100-150 LBS.
